This article will explain why your cash up will show an actual and expected Credit and Debit value of 0.00 even though you've taken sales.
Note: This article is applicable only to businesses that use a PhorestPay Card Terminal.
Why Are Credit & Debit Showing as 0.00?
At the end of each day, the cash-up screen will show your credit and debit totals as zero (0.00) if you use a PhorestPay Card Terminal. This happens because these figures are automatically reconciled, saving you time at the end of the day by eliminating the need to balance your credit and debit totals.
Reconciling Your Totals
If you want to view your daily totals, your PhorestPay Card Terminal and Cardless Checkout totals will be shown separately on the cash up screen from other payment types.
Your Card Terminal figures will be included in the Phorestpay Credit Card or PhorestPay Debit Card totals on your Cash Up Report, depending on which payment type (Credit or Debit) was used in each sale.
PhorestPay Credit will also include amounts from any of your other PhorestPay sources, like Online Gift Card sales, Online Store purchases, No Show charges, etc.
