This guide will show you how you can adjust the appearance of your PhorestPay Card Terminal, including adjusting the brightness, changing the theme, and changing how often the screen times out.

Accessing the Display Settings
To access the display settings on your PhorestPay Card Terminal, swipe your finger from the left of the screen > Settings > enter PIN code 07139 > Appearance.
Changing the Theme
You can apply a Light or Dark theme using the dropdown at the top of the Appearance settings.
Adjusting the Brightness
You can adjust the screen brightness using the sliders under the Brightness section. Separate brightness levels can be set for battery power and when the Card Terminal is plugged in. Lowering the brightness on battery power helps conserve energy.
Display Timeout
Adjusting the display timeout lets you control how long your Card Terminal screen stays on while on battery power. If the screen turns off, press the power button on the right side of the Card Terminal to wake it.
