This article will show you how to change the name on a Gift Card/Voucher from one client to another. This also works for Gift Cards or vouchers sold to Walk-In clients.
To edit a Gift Card/Voucher, go to Manager > Gift Cards/Vouchers, search for the one you want to change, and click to edit.
To move this Gift Card/Voucher to another client, click the current client name, then search for and click on the new client.
Click Save to finish, and the Gift Card/Voucher will now exist under the new client for future use.
Updating the Expiry
If you need to update the Gift Card/Voucher expiry date after moving it to a new client, click the Expiry Date to edit it.
Recording the Change
The change will also automatically be recorded in the History of the Gift Card/Voucher.
Re-Using Gift Cards
You cannot delete Gift Card serial numbers that have been used. If you are looking to 're-use' a gift card, you can use the steps in this guide to reassign the gift card to a new client and then top-up the gift card.
