Where Can I Use It?
Cardless Checkout is available on Phorest desktop and the Phorest Go app. If a client has a stored card on file, you will see an option to checkout using that stored card.
Phorest Go (Mobile)
On the Pay screen, if the client has a card on file, you will see an option to charge it. If there are multiple cards stored, you can select from any one of them. On each card, we show the last 4 digits of the card, so your client can be sure of which one they wish to use.
Phorest Desktop
Just like Phorest Go, you can also choose to pay with a stored card on the desktop. You can use the default card on file or choose from another if your client has more than one on file.
If the client has more than one stored card, you'll see a dropdown option to change cards. The most recently used card will be selected by default.
How do I Apply a Tip with Cardless Checkout?
You can apply a tip by clicking the Add a Tip button before completing checkout.
If you have a PhorestPay Card Terminal, the terminal will not be activated during a Cardless Checkout transaction. Therefore, the tip must be processed within Phorest rather than on the terminal.
If you want to know more about adding a tip to a sale, check out this guide to find out how.
How do I Remove a Stored Card?
If you have stored a client's card details but need to remove them, check out this guide to find out how.
