This article explains how to choose a specific terminal on the Purchase screen when using PhorestPay.
If you have multiple PhorestPay card terminals, you will see the dropdown menu highlighted below after you click the Credit or Debit payment types. Use the dropdown menu to choose the terminal you would like to use to process the sale.
How do I know if the Terminal I selected is free for use?
If the terminal selected is busy or down, you will receive the below error. If this appears, all you need to do is select 'Ok' and then attempt the sale with a different Terminal.
What if I want to change my default Terminal?
To change the default Terminal, go to Manager > Settings > Point of Sale > Device, then select your preferred default card terminal in the Credit Card Configuration dropdown, and click Save.
