This article will show you how you can activate and set up your TreatCard reward system.

Step-by-Step Guide

To access your TreatCard settings, go to Marketing > TreatCard

Setting Your Points

At the top of the page, set the number of points your clients should receive for each $ they spend on Services and Products.

For example, with the settings below, if a client spends $100 on services and $50 on a product, they would be rewarded 200 points (1 x 100 for services and 50 x 2 for products).

Points are defaulted to 1 for every $1 spent on Services and 2 for every $1 spent on Products. Businesses typically set higher rewards for Product points to incentivize upselling.

If you only want clients to gain points for one and not the other, set the points to 0 for the one you don't want to offer points on.

Setting Specific Points for Certain Services/Products

You can also award a specific number of points for individual services or products. Check out this guide to learn more.

Creating Your Treat Rewards

Choose whether you're adding a Service Treat or a Product Treat, then click the +Add button to begin creating a new reward.

Next, choose a Service or Product to add as a reward. The Select button will bring up your full list of Services or Products.

Once you've picked your reward, set how many points a client needs to gain in order to redeem this reward or click the Default button to let Phorest automatically calculate the recommended amount of points (the calculation is x14 times the price of the reward).

The Matrix Setting

If the Matrix setting is enabled for a reward, clients will not be able to redeem this reward if it's something they have already gotten before.

Disabling the Matrix setting means anyone can redeem this reward, even if they have previously booked the service or purchased the product.

We recommend keeping the Matrix setting enabled, meaning the box should be checked. This feature can encourage your clients to try new services or products, which can ultimately lead to an increase in your revenue. If a client has a good experience with a new service or product, they may be more likely to book or purchase it again in the future.

Note: You can disable the Matrix setting for individual clients if you wish. To find out more, check out this guide.

Click Save to finish. The reward is now created and will be offered to clients in the future. To see how clients redeem rewards, check out this guide.

Removing a Treat Reward

To remove a Treat, go to Marketing > TreatCard > Single-click the active Treat(s) under Service Treats or Product Treats, then click the Archive button.

Once archived, your clients will no longer be able to redeem the Treat reward.
