What is the Digital TreatCard?
The Digital TreatCard allows clients to track their TreatCard points online and redeem rewards through your Branded App without needing to ever have a physical TreatCard. This system simplifies loyalty management by replacing traditional keyring cards with a digital experience.
How Do I Enable the Digital TreatCard?
To enable the Digital TreatCard for your clients, go to Marketing > TreatCard > Settings, then enable Show Digital Loyalty TreatCard Online.
Once enabled, clients can view their Digital TreatCard on your online booking site and in your Branded App.
Viewing the Digital TreatCard in Online Booking
If your client is using a computer instead of their phone, they can click the Loyalty button in the top-right of your online booking page to view their Digital TreatCard.
Viewing the Digital TreatCard in your Branded App
If a client does not have a TreatCard number assigned, the Loyalty button will not appear in your online booking site or Branded App for that client.
What Does Each of the Additional Settings Do?
Points
Enabling the Points setting will allow clients to see the total number of points they currently have on their TreatCard.
Rewards
This setting only applies to your Branded App and is not available on your online booking page.
Enabling the Rewards setting will allow your clients to view the rewards available to them, the points each reward costs, and other rewards that are not yet available to them.
Product Rewards will not be displayed. Online Service Rewards will be shown.
Selecting a reward will bring up an option to Call to book.
If you want to allow your clients to book rewards directly in your Branded App, please see the Redeem Rewards setting below.
Redeem Rewards
This setting only applies to your Branded App and is not available on your online booking page.
Enabling the Redeem Rewards setting will allow your clients to book their rewards directly using your Branded App.
Once clients select a reward, they will be prompted to add a paid service to proceed with the booking. Rewards cannot be redeemed through the Branded App without including a paid service. After selecting their reward, clients will be redirected to your main service menu to choose the additional service.
FAQs
Can clients still use their physical TreatCards?
Yes, physical TreatCards remain available. However, the Digital TreatCard is the recommended option for enhanced convenience and real-time updates.
What happens to existing points when transitioning to the Digital TreatCard?
All existing points are transferred seamlessly to the digital system. Clients will not lose any points.
With the Digital TreatCard, do staff earn commission when clients redeem rewards?
No, just like the physical TreatCard, staff do not earn commission on redeemed rewards. Click here for more details on how TreatCard rewards impact staff reporting.
