This article will show you how you can give client's points on their TreatCard whenever they refer another client to your business.
The TreatCard referral scheme has proved to increase client numbers in salons, through the bonus points for each new client they can recommend. The existing client also gets an auto "Thank You" text, which makes them more likely to do the same with other clients.

Step-by-Step Guide
Go to Marketing > TreatCard > Settings
Setting the Awarded Point Amount
Click the Calculator button beside Treatcard Points Awarded on Referral to set how many points a client should get for referring another client to your business.
Enabling the Referral SMS
You can send an SMS to the client who made the referral to say thank you by checking the Enable Send SMS to Referring Client checkbox.
This is a great way to say thank you, and let them know that you've awarded them some points for referring someone to your business, which will encourage them to continue referring more clients.
When you're happy with your settings, click Save to finish.
How Does it Work?
When a client mentions that they were referred by another one of your clients, open the client's Client Card.
Under the Referred By field, select the name of the client who made the referral.
You will then be prompted to award that client with TreatCard points.
If you have the TreatCard SMS enabled, an SMS will automatically be sent to this client after you click Yes on this prompt letting them know that they've received points for the referral.
Note: The SMS message typically takes around 20-30 seconds to send.
