This article explains appointment colors and why they automatically change on your calendar screen.
Some appointments on your Phorest calendar automatically change color to indicate their status. These colors are designed to keep you and your staff informed, allowing you to easily identify an appointment's status at a glance.
Set Default Colors
You can customize the default color of appointments by service category. This is set under Manager > Categories > Service Categories.

Automatic Colors
An appointment turns orange if the appointment was not checked in and its start time has already passed.
An appointment turns yellow when it is checked in on the system.
An appointment turns green when it is checked out and paid for.
An appointment turns grey if it ends without being checked in or paid for. For example, when the client doesn't show up (No Show).
