How do I set up pop-up prompts for services?

This article will show you how to create custom staff prompts to appear for a selected service.

Creating a Prompt

Go to Manager > Services and open the service you wish to add a prompt to.

In the General tab, click Advanced and enter messages as needed into the Prompts fields > Click Save.

Multiple Locations in Phorest?

If you have multiple locations/branches in Phorest, click the Branches tab followed by the name of the location/branch first, then go to Advanced.

  • Appointment Creation: This prompt appears as soon as the service is selected during appointment creation.
  • Check In: This prompt appears as the appointment has been checked in.
  • Payment: This prompt appears after you click Pay on a selected appointment.

Once you've enabled your prompts and entered the appropriate prompt text, click Save to finish.

These prompts do not appear to your clients. They're intended for staff and are only visible from within the Phorest software.

Removing a Prompt

If you ever need to remove a prompt, go to Manager > Services. In the General tab, click Advanced and remove the prompt messages as needed. Then click Save.
