This article outlines how to merge client cards if you end up with more than one card relating to the same person.
Important: Once you merge two clients, they cannot be unmerged, so be careful when merging.

You can use reporting to identify your duplicate clients - Duplicate Clients report.
In this Article
Adding Clients to Merge
Go to Manager > Client Merge.
Select +Add Client to add the first client profile.
You can also add the first client directly from a client's profile if you prefer, by selecting Client actions > Client merge.
Then click +Add Client again and add the next duplicate version.
Repeat this process until you have added all client duplicates, then click the Next button.
What Information is Merged?
Before completing the merge, choose which information you would like to retain by clicking the dropdown boxes.
Fields with greyed-out information are automatically selected and cannot be changed because there is only one value to select.
Blank fields mean that none of the client profiles in the merge include that information.
All information, including client photos, service history, product history, consultation forms, PhorestPay stored card details, etc., will be merged together, even if they do not appear as options/boxes on this screen.
Completing the Merge
When you're ready to proceed, click Merge All to complete the merge instantly.
Can a Merge be Undone?
This process cannot be undone, even by Phorest staff, so please double-check that the information is exactly how you want it before completing the merge.
