This guide will show you how to create Gift Card/Voucher templates with pre-set values and discounts.

What is a Gift Card Campaign?
A Gift Card Campaign is a set of ready-made Gift Card options you create in advance, each with a preset value and optional discount, so that staff can sell them in a couple of clicks. You can group the options into categories, set when they’re available, and control when sales should start and stop.

How Do I Create a Gift Card Campaign?
To create a new Gift Card Campaign, go to Manager > Gift Cards/Vouchers > Gift Card Campaigns, then select New Gift Card Campaign to begin.
Give your campaign a Name (only visible to you on the Purchase screen and not to clients), then begin adding your gift card Values and Discounts.
You can add multiple gift card options to the campaign by selecting Add Value Level.
Finally, set the dates when the gift cards will be available for purchase, when clients can start redeeming them, and how many months remain until the gift card expires. Once done, click Save changes to finish.
Not Seeing Your Campaign After Saving?
If your campaign doesn't appear after saving, this is because the Available to purchase from and until dates are outside the current date range. This is normal, and your campaign will become visible once it is available for purchase. If you would still like to view it now, click the Show Not Available filter.
Selling a Campaign Gift Card
Once you are within your campaign's purchase from and until dates, your gift cards will be available to sell from your Purchase screen under the Gift Cards button.
If you need to sell a regular gift card, click the + Custom Voucher button.
If you have multiple campaigns running at the same time, each campaign name will be shown, with its Gift Card options listed under that name.
Multi-Location Businesses
If you have multiple locations in Phorest, keep in mind that clients can redeem a Gift Card at any location, no matter where it was purchased.
However, Gift Card Campaigns are set up per branch, so you will need to create the campaign separately in each location where you want to sell it.
Reporting on Gift Card Discounts
You can see how many gift cards were sold for each campaign under Manager > Gift Cards/Vouchers > Gift Card Campaigns.
For a detailed report on discounted gift card sales, go to Manager > Reports > Gift Vouchers.
You can click on the Total Gift Card Discounts number to see a detailed breakdown of each sale contributing to that discount total.
