How do I record professional products used in services?

This article will show you how you can use Phorest to track the usage of professional/backbar inventory by staff members.

Video: Deduct Professional Products

Step-by-step guide

Go to the Purchase screen and click the Professional button.

Scan the product, and you'll receive a prompt asking if you would like to deduct the product from your inventory/stock. Select Yes, then enter the quantity you would like to deduce from your inventory.

If you don't have a barcode scanner, you can click the Select button instead to manually search for and select a product from your list of inventory.


 Reporting on Your Product Usage

You can use the Product Usage report or the Product Usage Details report to monitor the usage of professional products.
