This article outlines how to automate when you need to let your client know they need to top up the product they previously bought from you
A good way to sell more retail is for a pop up reminder to appear when a client is in the salon and the last product they purchased ought to have run out.
To turn this feature on go to Manager>Settings
Click on Point of Sale then Prompts and then Show Advanced Options
Toggle to Yes to activate the Product reminder. (Point 1 below)
Choose when you want it to appear (i.e. on Check in or Payment, as per point 2 below).
Choose the number of weeks after the product purchase that you would like this reminder to appear. You can choose from 4, 8 or 12 weeks. (Point 3 below)
This will apply the reminder to every product, so in this example if a client has purchased a product, and then checks in or pays for (depending on which box you have checked) a booking which is 8 weeks or more after their last purchase, then Phorest will remind the Therapist to gently prompt the client.
If you would like to amend the amount of weeks required for each product separately then:
Go to Manager >Stock
Double-click a product to edit it, then click on the Advanced tab at the top of the screen and amend the weeks required for that particular product (this will override the general setting above for this product ONLY)
It is a fantastic way to increase your retail sales!
