This article will show you how you can enable a setting on your system that will prompt you to upgrade a single appointment to a Series/Course sale, provided there is a relevant Series/Couse available.
When a new client books in for the first time on the phone - it is hard to sell them a course until they have arrived in the salon. Phorest lets you book the client in for a regular appointment and then convert it into a course when they come to pay. It will automatically deduct that original appointment from the course.
To enable this setting, go to Manager > Settings > Point of Sale > Prompts, and change the Service to Course prompt to Yes, then click Save.
- Book a normal appointment
- When the client comes to pay - Select the appointment and click Pay
- A new pop up will appear asking you if you wish to convert the service into a course. The pop up will display all the courses available for that service.
Click Convert to convert this treatment into the first session of a course, or Don't Convert to keep the appointment as a standard single treatment.
