How do I sell a retail product using PhorestGo?

This article shows how to sell a retail product using PhorestGo on your Android or Apple iOS mobile device.

Open PhorestGo on your mobile device, then tap More to open the menu.

Tap Purchase > Tap New purchase.

Then find and select your client, or tap the Walk In button if it's a walk-in client.

You'll be prompted to ask the client if they would like to receive SMS or email notifications.

Tap Add item > Add product > Scan barcode of the product using the camera on your mobile device

If the Barcode Doesn't Exist

If you attempt to scan the barcode and it's not recognized, tap the Search products button and select an existing product from the list.

Note: If the product exists but the barcode isn't working, check out this guide on how to add/update a product barcode. Alternatively, if a product doesn't exist on your Phorest system at all, learn how to add a product to Phorest.

If you want to add an additional product to the sale, tap Add Item again and repeat the steps above.

Once you have all of the items added to your sale, tap Collect payment to process the payment and complete the transaction.
