This article will show you how you can connect your iPad or smartphone to your cash drawer/till or receipt printer.
Remote printing from PhorestGo only works if you are using the Phorest desktop application, and is not possible when using Phorest from a web browser.
You can connect your PhorestGo app to one of your computers to print a receipt remotely and/or open your cash drawer.
The computer you connect to will have to remain connected to the cash drawer and/or receipt printer in order for this to work.
Updating Your Settings in PhorestGo
In PhorestGo, open the sidebar menu and go to Settings > Receipts and payments.
Under Printer, select the name of the installed receipt printer you wish to use.
If you're unsure of the printer's name, open Phorest and navigate to Manager > Settings > Point of Sale > Receipts. Then, check the name of the receipt printer.
If you do not see a receipt printer listed in the drop-down, you may need to install your receipt printer on your computer first and then select it.
If you do not see the Receipt Printer option at all, you are using Phorest in a web browser, and remote printing from PhorestGo is not currently supported with a web browser.
