How do I let clients leave notes when booking online?

This article shows how to let your clients leave a note on their appointment when making a booking online.

Enabling Notes in Online Booking

Go to Manager > Settings.

Open the Online tab > Booking Rules section. Make sure the Show notes toggle is set to Yes, and then click Save.

This enables a comment box at the final booking confirmation screen, where your clients can leave a comment on their appointment.


How it Looks in Phorest

The note will automatically appear in the Current appointment notes.

Additionally, if you have the Appointment and break hover summary prompt enabled, you will see the note when hovering your mouse over the appointment.

Email Notification

You will also receive an email notification to let you know that a client left a note:
