This article will show you how to configure your online booking settings to restrict staff options for new clients.
Limiting Staff Availability
You can limit a staff member's availability by going to Manager > Staff Members > click the staff member to open their profile > Settings.
Under Online Booking Availability, choose whether the staff member can be booked by everyone or returning clients only.
How Does it Work?
If a staff member is set to be Available for Returning Clients Only, then they will only show availability online for clients who have completed an appointment in the past.
If a new client who has never visited before tries to request an appointment with that staff member, no availability will be shown.
Multiple Locations in Phorest
If your business has multiple locations in Phorest, it's important to note that clients who have had an appointment in any of your locations will be considered as 'returning clients' at other locations.
For example, a client who has had an appointment in Location A will also be considered as 'returning' should they try to then book in 'Location B' without having visited that location before.
