Applying a Discount in a Sale
To apply a discount to a sale, click None in the Discount column for an item in the sale.
Next, click Custom Discount, choose whether you want to apply a Percentage or Amount discount, and enter the value. Then choose whether to Apply to all items in the sale or only to the item you selected. Click OK to finish and apply the discount.
When applying an Amount discount to all items, the total discount is split among them, keeping the overall discount equal to the amount entered. It does not apply the full amount to each item.
Applying a Discount in PhorestGo
If you’re using a mobile device, you can apply a discount in PhorestGo by tapping an item in a sale > Add a discount > Add custom discount (or choose a pre-made discount if you’ve created one) > enter the discount amount > Add a discount.
