How Do I Accept Meta’s Non-Discrimination Policy in Phorest Ads Manager?

To run ads on Facebook and Instagram through Phorest, you need to accept Meta’s Non-Discrimination Policy. This is a requirement from Meta to ensure all advertisers comply with fair advertising practices.

Why do I Need to Accept this Policy?

Meta’s Non-Discrimination Policy prohibits advertisers from using ads to discriminate based on personal characteristics such as race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, disability, or other protected classes. Accepting the policy is mandatory to continue creating ads through Phorest and ensures your ads comply with Meta’s standards.

If you do not accept the policy, you will not be able to create ads using Phorest’s integration with Facebook and Instagram.


Accepting the Policy

Click here to go to your Business Settings in Meta, then click System Users from the sidebar and click +Add.

Meta's Non-discrimination policy will then appear on screen for you to review and accept.

If you do not see this prompt after clicking Add, go to the next section in this guide.

After accepting, you don't need to create a new user. You can click Cancel.

The policy has now been accepted, and you can continue with creating ads in Phorest Ads Manager.


Not Prompted to Accept the Policy?

If you weren't prompted to accept the policy after clicking +Add, you may need to temporarily switch back to the classic version of the Meta Business Manager page.

To do this, go to the Settings screen in Meta Business Manager and click Business Manager from the sidebar menu.

Then click Go to Business Manager settings.

Next, select System users from the sidebar menu. If you immediately see the option to review the policy, you can click here to review and accept it.

Otherwise, click Add, and you should be prompted afterward to review and accept the policy.
