Phorest Settings Overview

This article provides a general overview of the settings in your Phorest system.

Phorest settings can be found under Manager > Settings.

This article is divided into sections covering different Settings areas. Use the links below to jump to a specific section or read on for a full overview.


General Settings

The General Settings section is split into five categories: Contact InfoOpening Hours, Appointment SetupFacilities Financials.

Contact Info

The Contact Info section shows you your current business details.

Opening Hours

Here, you can edit the business's Opening Hours and create Special Exception days.

Appointment Setup

These settings allow you to control how your Appointments calendar works and what information is displayed.

You can also configure which prompts appear on your Appointments screen, reducing unwanted noise and focusing on the information that matters to you and your team.

Client Setup

Here, you can configure the default client credit limit, the client data retention period, and the information required when creating a new client.

Facilities

This section will allow you to create and edit MachinesRooms & Departments.

Financials

The Financials section lets you create and manage your Payment Types and create Custom Fees.


Online Settings

The Online settings section lets you configure settings for each of your online features, like online booking, online gift cards, Instagram/Facebook, and more.

Branded App Settings

Here, you can customize the appearance of your Branded App and add images to your Branded App Gallery.


Phorest Go Settings

Here, you can configure settings in PhorestGo, specifically around Staff Performance.


Point of Sale Settings

Point Of Sale settings are broken into three sections: General, Receipts, and Prompts.

General settings let you configure various aspects of your Phorest system.

Receipts settings let you control how your receipts are printed and what information is printed on them.

Prompts settings let you enable different client and staff prompts that appear in the system, such as no-show warnings, birthday reminders, and series/course upsell prompts.
