This article will show how to export email addresses for 3rd party software (Mail Chimp)
Note: This is for use with an external email system like “Mailchimp” or “Constant contact”
Extracting emails is a method for you to export a list of client emails and names to be used in a specific email system. Export these emails to a “.csv” file, which can be uploaded to the external software.
To access this go to Marketing> Client Export
This screen will display a list of filters to extract client’s emails in various ways. The most common option is to extract all your clients. Click the Add All Clients (1)
A list of clients displayed will appear (2). This indicates that the system has a phone number, email address, or house address stored in their client card. No symbol indicates that the client has no information yet.
The client total indicates the total number of clients in the system. The SMS reachable and Email Reachable figures are clients who have valid contact information and are opted into marketing consent (3).
Once you are satisfied your filters are correct, click the Emails (CSV) button (as shown in point 1. below). Choose where to save the file on your computer (2). Create a name for the file (3). Once complete click Save (4).
It is now saved on your system and can be used for external software.
