This article will show you how your customers will purchase an online gift card/voucher.
First Steps!
Before you can sell Gift Cards online, you'll need to make sure you have them enabled in your Phorest system. Check out this guide to see how to get started.
Once you've enabled Online Gift Cards, a new Buy a Gift Card/Voucher button will be added to your normal online booking page.

How it Works For Your Clients
Your clients will be brought to the following screen where they can choose to purchase a gift card for themselves, or for someone else.
When your clients choose Myself, they enter their own name and email address.
If they choose Someone else, they can provide their own details, add a Personal message for the recipient, enter the recipient’s email address to send the gift card, and include their own information to receive a separate email receipt for the purchase.
It is not currently possible to schedule the gift card to be sent on a specific date. Gift cards are sent to the recipient immediately after purchase.
The coloring on your Gift Card site is based on the Brand color you have set under Manager > Settings > Online > Brand color.
After entering their information, they'll review it on the Summary page.
After confirming, they'll enter their payment details.
After payment, they'll receive a purchase confirmation, along with an email receipt for the purchase.
Note: The maximum gift card amount a client can purchase at any one time is $/€/£1000. This is set by our payments processor partner.
And the recipient of the Gift Card will also receive an email notification:
Note: The coloring in the email notification is based on the Brand color you have set under Manager > Settings > Online > Brand color.
How it Works For You
The sale will appear in your Phorest system under Manager > Sales and will be attached to the client profile of the person who purchased the gift card. It will also appear under Manager > Gift Cards/Vouchers.
If an existing client profile cannot be found, a new client profile will be created under the details of the person who purchased the gift card.
You will also receive an email notification to say you have sold a Gift Card online.
