This article will explain how to use the Reserve with Google integration to link your Phorest online booking page to your Google Business Profile.

Feature Availability

Reserve with Google is exclusive to certain Phorest subscription packages. If you do not see the feature in your Phorest system and are interested in upgrading your package to access it, please complete this form.


Phorest integrates with Reserve with Google so that millions of Google users can better
discover your business on Google Search and Maps and then easily be redirected to your Phorest scheduling site to make an appointment with you.

What is ‘Reserve with Google’?

The Reserve with Google integration makes it easy for customers to book appointments through Google Search and Maps. Customers already searching for your business or services your business provides will find your business and be redirected to your scheduling site to book an appointment.


How Does it Work?

Setup is easy and done through Phorest. This integration will allow us to connect your Phorest account with your Google Business Profile. This will add a "Book" or "Book Online" button to your profile, making it visible on Google Search and Maps. If you don’t have a Google Business Profile yet, you can set one up here.

Phorest will pass through your latest information, including services you offer, and automatically enable booking functionality on Google.

What Do I Need to Do?

  • Have an active Google Business Profile. If you do not have one created, you can do so here.
  • Have Online Booking enabled in Phorest.
  • Enable the Google Reserve feature under ManagerSettings OnlineGoogle Reserve.
  • Ensure your Phorest business details are correct and match the details of your Google Business Profile exactly. 

Multiple Locations in Phorest?

If you have multiple locations in Phorest and want to enable Google Reserve in all of them, you can select the Apply to all locations option.

Click Save to finish.

Once these conditions are satisfied, Google will automatically connect your Phorest Online Booking site to your Google Business page.

It can take between 24 and 48 hours after enabling Google Reserve before you see the Book Online button on your Google Business profile.

Not Seeing Google Reserve in Your Phorest System?

If you do not see the Google Reserve feature in your Phorest system, it is unavailable in your subscription, and you will need to upgrade to access it. If you are interested in upgrading to get access, please complete this form.

How Do I Make Sure My Phorest Business Details Are Correct?

You can now edit and update your business details via the Phorest desktop. You can do so by going to:

Manager > Settings > General > Contact Info > Change Business Details. 

This will open a web page outside of Phorest, with a form allowing you to enter and submit your updated business details. Once this form is submitted, your details are updated automatically.


The ability to update your address yourself is currently not available in Australia. If you are in Australia and need your address in Phorest updated, please contact our Support team, and we can update it for you.


What should my customers expect when they click the “Book Online” button on my Business Profile or other booking entry points associated with my business on Google Search & Maps?

Once a customer clicks a booking entry point associated with your business, they are redirected to your Phorest online booking page. From there, they complete the booking as they usually would.

What are the differences between this integration and my Business Profile on Google?

A Business Profile on Google is a way for a business to show up on Google Search and Maps and interact with customers online. A business can showcase all key details, such as business hours, contact information, and services offered.

The Reserve with Google integration links to your Business Profile and allows customers to be redirected to your website by clicking a blue “Book Online” button prominently placed on your profile.

These products work together to help you reach new customers for appointments.

What if the button does not show up on my Google Page?

Please check your business details and make sure they match the Google My Business entry.

You must have a Google Business showing up on Google Maps.

How do I know if this is bringing new customers to my salon?

It’s not possible to see this number yet in Phorest, but we’re working on better reporting for your online booking. Feel free to pass on your Google Analytics ID and you can get more data from us this way.
