This article will outline how to set up a custom prompt for every service within a particular service category
A custom prompt can be assigned to a Service Category; This prompt will then be applied to every service assigned to this Service Category.
To begin, go to Manager > Categories > Service Categories.
Single-click on the name of the Service Category you wish to add a custom prompt to.
You will see a list of three different types of prompts you can enable. Switch the No/Yes toggle to Yes to enable your choice of prompt(s).
- Appointment Creation: This will trigger the prompt as soon as any service in that category is selected when the appointment is being booked.
- Check In: This will trigger the prompt as soon as the appointment has been checked in within Phorest
- Pay: This will trigger the prompt as soon as the appointment is to be paid within Phorest
Once you've enabled your prompts and entered the appropriate prompt text, click Save to finish.
Note: Please be advised that these prompts do not appear to your clients. They are only viewable from within the Phorest software.
