This article will outline how to set up a custom prompt for every service within a particular service category.
Creating a Prompt
A custom prompt can be assigned to a Service Category; This prompt will then be applied to every service assigned to this Service Category.
To begin, go to Manager > Categories > Service Categories.
Single-click on the name of the Service Category that you wish to add a custom prompt to.
You will see a list of three different types of prompts you can enable. Switch the No/Yes toggle to Yes to enable your choice of prompt(s).
- Appointment Creation: This prompt will appear as soon as a service from the Service Category is selected during appointment creation.
- Check-In: This prompt will appear as the appointment has been checked in.
- Pay: This will prompt will appear after you click Pay on an appointment.
Once you've enabled your prompts and entered the appropriate prompt text, click Save to finish.
These prompts do not appear to your clients. They are intended for staff and are only visible from within the Phorest software.
