How do I set up pop up prompts for Service Categories?

This article outlines how to set up a custom prompt for every service within a particular service category.

Creating a Prompt

A custom prompt can be assigned to a service category. This prompt will then be applied to every service assigned to this service category.

To begin, go to Manager Categories > Service Categories

Open the Service category that you wish to add a custom prompt to. Turn the toggle to Yes to enable your choice of prompt(s).

  • Prompt on appointment creation: This prompt will appear as soon as a service from the service category is selected during appointment creation.
  • Prompt on client check-in: This prompt will appear as the appointment has been checked in.
  • Prompt on completed payment: This will prompt will appear after you click Pay for an appointment.

Once you've enabled your prompts and entered the appropriate prompt text, click Save to finish.

These prompts do not appear to your clients. They are intended for staff and are only visible from within the Phorest software.
