Adding Staff to the Tip Prompt
Sometimes you may want to add staff to the tip prompt even if the appointment wasn't specifically booked with that staff member.
To add more staff to the tip prompt, select the Card option as payment, then select Edit in the Show tip prompt in terminal section.
Add the additional staff member(s), and then click Done.
Clients will now be asked to tip each staff member separately on your PhorestPay Card Terminal after you select Complete Payment.
Removing Staff from the Tip Prompt
In some cases, you may have staff in Phorest that should never appear in the PhorestTips prompt. For example, if you’ve created staff profiles for things like sunbeds or house accounts. You can prevent these profiles from appearing during the tipping process by updating their settings in the Staff Profile section.
To do this, go to Manager > Staff Members > Click on the staff member > PhorestPay, then change the PhorestTips setting to No, and click Save.
PhorestTips will no longer be prompted for this staff member.
Alternatively, you can switch the PhorestPay Account setting to Off. However, please note that this will remove the PhorestPay menu from PhorestGo for that staff member. If this is an actual staff member, it’s recommended to set PhorestTips to No instead.
Turning Off the Tip Prompt in a Sale
If you don't want the PhorestTips prompt to appear on your Card Terminal for a particular sale, you can disable the Show tip prompt in terminal option.
