How can I give staff access to PhorestTips without giving them full access to PhorestGo?

This guide will show you how to give your team access to just the PhorestTips feature in the PhorestGo app, even if they don’t use the app for anything else.

Enabling PhorestTips

First, you'll need to enable PhorestTips, and your staff will need to create their PhorestTips accounts. If you haven't done this already, follow the steps here, and then return to this guide once the feature is enabled.


Limiting Staff Access

After PhorestTips has been enabled, go to Manager > Access, then select the staff member's Access Level from the drop-down menu.

Next, uncheck All Permissions.

Finally, search PhorestTips in the search bar, check the box beside the PhorestTips access permission, then click Save to finish.

The access level has been updated to only allow access to PhorestTips within PhorestGo.


Creating a PhorestGo Login

To create a login for a staff member, go to Manager > Staff Members > click on the staff member's name to open their profile > enter an Email and Password > and click Save.

Here you can also verify that the staff member is on the correct Access Level.

After this, the staff member will be able to log into PhorestGo, and their access will be limited to their own PhorestTips information only. They will not have access to other areas in PhorestGo, like the Calendar, Client List, Rosters etc.
