Ethos Metrics Dashboard

This article will explain how to use the Ethos Metrics dashboard to compare your business performance against that of other Ethos salons.

This report is available, free of charge, to all Phorest clients in the US who are partnered with Ethos. If you are partnered with Ethos and can’t currently access this report, please contact your Salon Success Manager.

Access is required to view this dashboard. You can find this access permission under ManagerAccess & License Keys > ReportsPartner Reports > Ethos Metrics.

What is the Ethos Metrics Dashboard?

This dashboard provides a quick overview of your salon's performance in various business areas over the past month, comparing it to other similar-sized Ethos salons. The metrics in the dashboard have been carefully selected to match the KPIs taught in the Ethos Education Institute.

You can also see how your business compared, on average, to other Ethos salons of a similar size covered by the same Ethos Representative in your area.

This data will enable you to make more informed decisions about what actions to take and areas to work on moving forward when chatting with your Ethos Representative.


Accessing the Dashboard

To access the dashboard, go to ManagerReports and click Ethos Metrics from the Insights dashboards and reports selection.


Reporting Explained

Client Visits - The number of clients who visited the salon and paid for a service last month.

Average Service Ticket - The average amount spent per client on services during the previous month, excluding retail sales.

PPC - The amount of retail products sold per client visit.

Prebooking % - This is the percentage of visits for which, on or before the day of the visit, have a future appointment prebooked.

The reports in Blue represent the benchmark figures for all Ethos salons of a similar size to yours.

The reports in Orange represent the benchmark figures for Ethos salons of a similar size to yours, which are also covered by the same Ethos Representative in your area.

The reports in Green represent your salon's performance.


Downloading/Exporting the Data

To download the entire dashboard, click the three dots at the top right corner and click Download.

To download individual reports, hover your mouse over the report, click the three dots in the corner, and then click Download data.


Scheduling a Dashboard Email Delivery

If you wish, you can schedule the dashboard to be emailed to you, your team, and your Ethos Representative on a recurring basis by clicking the three dots at the top right corner of the dashboard and then clicking Schedule delivery.
