This article will show you how to export client data and purchase transaction history. This will allow you to build custom reports, and also facilitate the import of data into different software systems such as accountancy software.
Go to Manager > Business > CSV Export.
Click + New Export, set your From and To date range for your export, then choose the format you would like to export in under CSV Type.
Once you're happy with your selection, click OK to start your export.
Click OK to start your Export.
Your export will initially appear as Scheduled, and will run in the background.
This may take a few hours, depending on how much data is involved with your export, so feel free to continue using Phorest. You can return to this screen later to check on the status.
Once your export is ready, the status will change to Succeeded and a download arrow will appear. Click the download arrow to download your export.
The export can then be used to import into the Accountancy/CRM package of your choice and also used to create custom reports (with the assistance of your Developer/IT professional).
Note: Because of the sensitive nature of the data being exported, we would recommend you limit staff access to the Business section of the software. To find out more about limiting Access permissions, check out this guide.
