This article shows you how to create and manage Team Goals in PhorestGo, so you can track shared targets (like service or retail sales) across a group of staff members.
Access Required
There are two access permissions related to Team Goals: Team Goals and Manager View. You need the Team Goals permission to see the Team Goals section in PhorestGo, and the Manager View permission to create a Team Goal.

What is a Team Goal?
A Team Goal is a shared sales target in PhorestGo that you set for a group of staff members, so everyone can work towards the same result together (for example, a monthly service sales or retail sales target).
Unlike individual staff goals, a Team Goal tracks the team’s combined progress toward a single target while still showing each participant how much they personally contributed.
Creating a Team Goal
In PhorestGo, open the sidebar menu and go to My Performance > Team Goals.
Next, select Create a team goal.
If you do not see this option, please check your Access permissions and ensure you have PhorestGo > Staff Performance > Manager View access.
Next, select your Team Goal visibility:
- Managers Only: Only your management team can view the goal and track its progress (staff with Manager View access).
- Participants: Only staff added to the goal can view it.
-
Everyone: All staff can view the goal.
Choose your goal participants, set your goal target (service or retail sales), set a start and end date, then select Next.
Finally, enter a name and a reward description, then tap Save and finish to complete creating your Team Goal.
Multiple Locations in Phorest?
If you have multiple locations in Phorest, please keep in mind that only the sales from the location where you set up the goal will count towards the goal progress.
Viewing Goal Progress
- Daily team average
- Your contribution toward the goal (if you're a participant)
- A team leaderboard of all contributions (provided you have Manager View access).
Push Notifications
Goal participants will also receive push notifications in PhorestGo at key points (for example: when the goal starts, halfway through, on the last day, and when the goal is achieved).
