Facebook permission requirements for sharing Reviews and connecting Online Reputation

This guide will show you how to update your access permissions in Meta Business Manager to allow for sharing reviews on Facebook and replying to reviews in Online Reputation.

What Permissions are Required?

To manage Facebook reviews in Phorest, the person who made the initial connection (i.e. the person whose login details were used when connecting to Facebook) must have access to the Content and Community activity permissions in your Meta Business Suite settings.


Updating Permissions in Meta Business Suite

To update a person's access permissions in your Meta Business Suite, first go to your Meta Business Suite settings page.

Next, select the cogwheel settings icon beside the relevant business portfolio.

Look under People to check if the person whose access you want to update is listed. If they are, click Manage to adjust their permissions.

If they aren't already listed, click Assign people to add them.

When updating their permissions, ensure that Content and Community activity are enabled.
