How it Works
When a client buys a Course online, they can choose Klarna at checkout.
At the moment, Klarna is available only for online course purchases and isn't supported for other types of purchases, such as appointment deposits, online retail, or online vouchers.
They’ll then be guided through Klarna’s secure checkout process to confirm their payment plan and complete the purchase.
After the purchase is complete, you are paid upfront (minus Klarna transaction fees). Klarna then manages the client’s repayment schedule directly.
Your client’s Klarna payment plan is handled by Klarna and follows Klarna’s terms:
Enabling Klarna Payments
Go to Manager > PhorestPay > Settings, then enable the Flexible Payments option.
Adjusting Your Settings
In your settings, you can set a Minimum Spend amount to help you manage when the Klarna payment option is available to your clients.
Refunds
Refunds are processed using the same Phorest refund flow you already use. Your Phorest system sends the refund request to Klarna, and the client is refunded in accordance with Klarna’s process.
