This article will show you how you can switch off the Xero/QuickBooks integration.
Disabling the Integration
To turn off the Xero or QuickBooks accounting integration, go to Manager > Integrations > Click on either Xero or QuickBooks (whichever one you're using) > Manage Integration.
Next, select Manage Connection.
Finally, choose your preferred option:
- Disable: Pauses the sync between Phorest and Xero/QuickBooks. Your settings will be retained, and you will still continue to be billed for the integration.
- Disconnect: Disconnects any Xero/QuickBooks accounts you have connected with Phorest. Sync is paused, and you will no longer be billed for the integration. If you reconnect your account, your previous settings will be retained, and billing for the integration will resume.
- Delete: Deletes the connection between Phorest and Xero/QuickBooks. Sync and billing for the integration are stopped. Your previous settings will be retained should you decide to reconnect.
Disabling the Integration During a Billing Period
Billing for the integration runs from the 1st of every month, and you are billed for that month.
If you disable the integration mid-month, billing will stop from the next billing period onward unless you re-enable it.
