How do I enable a staff PIN code requirement on a tablet?

This guide shows you how to enable the Require Tablet PIN feature, ensuring staff must enter their PIN when using PhorestGo on a tablet, whether it's an iPad or an Android device.

Go to Manager > Access & License Keys > Access PINs, then change Require Tablet PIN to Yes, and click Save to finish.

Next, sign in to PhorestGo 2.0 on your tablet. It is recommended that you create an overall tablet profile (e.g., "iPad") with full access to all features in PhorestGo. This profile serves purely as a universal login for the tablet itself but does not limit individual user access.

Once the universal tablet profile is active, each staff member’s level of access is determined by their unique PIN code. When a staff member enters their PIN, the tablet recognizes them and grants the appropriate permissions based on their user profile settings.

If you need to 'log out' of your profile when you're done using the iPad, single-press the power button on your iPad to lock the screen. Then, the next time someone unlocks the screen, they will be prompted to enter their own PIN code.
