Why is the 'Add a tip' button not showing on my Purchase screen?

This article will explain why the Add a tip button may not be showing under the Payment Methods menu in the Purchase screen.

There are two reasons why the Add a tip button might not be visible to you:

You Are Using PhorestTips

The most common reason the Add a tip button might not be visible on your Purchase screen is that your business is using the PhorestTips feature.

When this feature is enabled, the Add a tip button disappears from the Purchase screen. Instead, the tip prompt automatically appears on the PhorestPay Card Terminal, integrating the tipping process directly with the payment terminal.

You Are Not Using PhorestTips

If your business is not using PhorestTips and the Add a tip button still does not appear on the Purchase screen, the feature may need to be enabled on your account. To do this, please get in touch with our Support team by clicking the button below.
