Note: Due to regulatory constraints this feature is only available in North America.
This article will show you how to edit a sale that has been carried out with Phorest Pay. Due to security restrictions, you will only be able to edit certain areas of a Phorest Pay sale such as the Staff Member assigned to an item, the Client attached to the sale, the Service/Product as long as the price does not change, and other payment types which are not Credit and Debit.
Note: This is only for single merchant accounts. Systems set up with multiple staff merchant accounts cannot perform these changes.
To edit a Phorest Pay sale you will go to Manager > Sales > locate the sale > either double click on the sale or click on the sale once so it is highlighted yellow and click Edit.
To change the client card connected to the sale you will click the 1 Client button at the top of the screen next to the client details > select the client card > click Pay and click Pay once again to save the changes.
Change Staff Member
To change the staff member connected to an item in the sale you will click the staff member's name next to the item and select the new staff member > click Pay and click Pay once again to save the changes.
To change the service/product in the sale you will click on the service/product and select the new service/product > click Pay and click Pay once again to save the changes. Please note if the price is more the remainder will need to be paid using another payment type that is neither credit nor debit.
Edit Payment Types
You will only be able to edit payment types that are not connected to Phorest Pay. If you need to refund the client please follow this guide.
To edit the payment types you will click Pay on the sale to open the payment types > click the Calculator next to the payment type to change the Amount > click Pay once all changes are made to save the changes.
