What is the merchant portal?

The Merchant Portal is a website hosted by International Bancard which allows you to view batch history, view sales transactions (failed, pending & completed) and carry out charges and refunds if your PhorestPay device cannot be used at that moment in time.

How do I access my merchant portal?

When signing up for PhorestPay, the merchant account holder would have received an email from International Bancard with the subject line “Welcome to Merchant Passport”. 

This email contains the following link to access the Merchant Portal - https://merchant.intlbancard.com/auth/login

The email also contains your login credentials (username and password) to the Virtual portal so you can check your credit card transactions, statements, and batch history.

I don't know my login details and cannot locate the email?

If you cannot locate the email that was sent containing the login details and cannot access the merchant portal then the merchant account holder will need to contact International Bancard:

Note: International Bancard will only speak with the merchant account holder.

Use cases for the Merchant Portal

  • View Batches
  • View failed transactions
  • View Pending transactions
  • View Statements 
  • Push through pending transactions so the client is charged 
  • Refund a credit/debit card if the sale is not on the Phorest system
  • Refund a membership billing 
  • Charge a credit/debit card if the PhorestPay device cannot be used at that moment
