This article outlines where Treatcard points go when Gift Cards are purchased
When someone purchases a gift card/voucher either as a client or a walk-in (if they would like to remain anonymous) they DO NOT receive Treatcard loyalty points. The points automatically go to the person who REDEEMS the card.
If a gift card/voucher has been purchased for a couple and both parties are clients in your system, you can also award points manually to the other person if they only booked in under one name.
Manually Adding Treatcard Points:
Click on Clients button (as shown in point 1.below), then choose a suitable client, and double click on their name to open their client card.
Then click on the Treatcard > Add/Remove Points
You will now see the following pop up window where you can add or remove points by checking the relevant checkbox, and then enter the number of points (see point 1. below), and also add a reason (point 2.) Once you are happy then click OK to save (point 3.)
The client now has extra points which are shown in the details screen:
